Hot Property: A Southern Charmer in Bluffview

One thing you learn if you look at enough Dallas real estate (or real estate in general): a charming facade doesn’t always guarantee an aesthetically pleasing interior. Even a home with the most epic curb appeal can disappoint when you move beyond its exterior.

Fortunately for our eyes, 5006 Stanford Avenue does not let us down in such a manner. That charming Southern façade, with its timeless columns, massive lantern, grey shutters with matching Adirondack chairs, and an almost peach-colored front door are just the tip of the attractive iceberg.

Inside, a fresh interior (with just the right amount of modern farmhouse) feels both up-to-date and incredibly classic. The first floor is open, airy, and draws any visitors’ eyes to the brick-covered backyard patio and sizable artificial turf out back. Upstairs, the focus is on family, with four bedrooms, including a master suite with a sitting area, sprawling bathroom, and walk-out balcony.

All in all, 506 Stanford Avenue isn’t our most extravagant “Hot Property,” nor is it the most distinct, but it’s consistent and sweet, like the iced tea you might sip on that walk-out balcony. And sometimes that’s better than being “hot.”
