There are a lot of things that kids these days will never have to worry about. A youth today will never have to bother with choosing a fun but cool ringback tone, or remember to be kind and rewind. They’ll never get a paper cut from MapQuest directions or have to wait to see how those Homecoming pictures turned out. And perhaps most importantly, they’ll never suffer the mortification of having their crush’s mom pick up the landline. “It’s just a homework question, Mrs. Smith!”

We won’t begrudge the youth of 2016 for not knowing what a Blockbuster is, but there is one lesson we hope they don’t miss out on: the importance of writing thank-you notes. So naturally, we were thrilled to see Bell’INVITO’s new line of luxe, boxed stationery for kids. The cards feature gold, engraved motifs that are whimsical enough to coax even the most reluctant writer and are designed to help kids easily construct a proper thank you. They even come in fun, lizard-embossed boxes.

Live on, handwritten snail mail! Live on.
