Cook Children’s pediatric intensive care unit won the Silver Beacon Award for Excellence by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses for its approach to policies, procedures, and processes. The hospital received the 2023 Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award for outstanding dedication to patient experience, which is awarded to the top 5 percent of healthcare providers nationwide.

Texas Oncology and Carrum Health, a value-based Center of Excellence, are partnering to provide breast cancer care that includes a bundled package for two years of coverage for chemotherapy, radiation, and symptom management. Carrum offers employer clients pre-negotiated bundled prices to alleviate administrative burdens in a high-cost driver. Texas Oncology is one of the largest community-based oncology practices in the U.S. and provides around half of the cancer care in Texas.

Dallas-based Wondr Health, a preventive, chronic care solution for metabolic, emotional, and physical health, named Greg Tracy as Chief Technology Officer. Tracy joins the digital health and benefits company with more than 25 years in experience, most recently serving as the CTO of Propeller Health and the vice president of product development for ResMed after it acquired Propeller.
