As the fiscal cliff conversation heats up, its financial impact on Texas’ programs is starting to come into focus.
That includes an estimated $142 million reduction for Texas Health and Human Services, a drop that will affect more than 300,000 clients statewide, HHS budget and fiscal policy director David Kinsey recently told the House Interim Committee.
