Come Work At D Magazine, We Need An Online Arts Editor

It's a fun gig.
|

Alex Macon, our current and fantastic online arts and culture editor, is taking over as the site’s managing editor and shifting his focus toward Frontburner. Which means D Magazine has an immediate opening for an online arts editor, ideally a person who is as comfortable at a warehouse punk show as they are inside the Nasher Sculpture Center. Or, at least, can find freelancers who are, and edit the hell out of them.

The arts and culture section of our fine website—long known as FrontRow—will be your domain, although you’ll also be tasked with logging the month’s events into our directory system and then culling the top 20 or so for the print magazine each month. But we also want in-depth features and whip-smart analyses to go with quick previews and breaking news bits. There’s a lot of room—and support—to make it your own. Sound like something your speed? Send over a cover letter, résumé, and three to five of your strongest clips right here.
