The first time I tried Dariosh Viogner was at Nana on Paul Pinnell’s recommendation. It exemplifies what is so special about Viogner–floral aromas, lucsious apricot on the palate, and a long, yummy finish. The winery in Napa is a sight to see with grand Persian-style columns adorning the entrance. The winery may be a bit over the top, but the wines produced there are spectacular.
