Michael Crouse joins Lux Ice from Tyson Foods, where he served as head of U.S. prepared food service. Prior to that, Crouse’s roles included resident of U.S. Food Service at Kraft Heinz and vice president and general manager of U.S. Supermarkets at the Frito Lay division of PepsiCo.

RJ Yoakum, Executive Chef at Georgie

Chef RJ Yoakum joins Georgie from The French Laundry in Napa. During his studies at The Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, Yoakum traveled throughout Europe and Southeast Asia to learn about each region’s cuisine and their rich tradition in agriculture and gastronomy. He also spent time developing his knowledge at ​​The Clove Club in London. In his new role, Yoakum is building relationships with local Texas farmers and sourcing ingredients from local farms, such as Reeves Farm, Comeback Creek Farm, and Rosewood Ranch.

Andrew Porteous, Senior Managing Director

In his new role, Andrew Porteous’s main focus will be on debt, equity, and structured finance services within the firm’s Capital Markets practice. He will help lead commercial debt efforts in Texas, while working closely with Newmark’s industrial office and multifamily capital markets professionals. Porteous joins Newmark from Morgan Stanley, where he served as the head of the Texas office within the Commercial Real Estate Group, originating over $4.8 billion of commercial mortgage-backed securities and balance sheet loans across all primary commercial real estate product types. Before that, he was a vice president at Deutsche Bank Commercial Real Estate Group, JLL Capital Markets, and PBL Capital.

At Riveron, Stuart Walker will guide underperforming companies and advise boards and management teams on strategy and execution. Prior to joining Riveron, Walker worked as an independent contractor for Tarrant County Senior Living Center. He also served as principal financial officer of several middle market companies—publicly traded and private equity sponsored—that focus on healthcare, business services, distribution, telecommunications, and technology businesses.

Shelly Shults Chambers joins PlainsCapital Bank from Frost Bank, where she served as vice president. Prior to that, she worked as a private fiduciary for Senior Concepts. In this new role, Chambers will oversee wealth management, trust, and estate administration services for individuals, foundations, endowments, and organizations within Dallas-Fort Worth. PlainsCapital Bank, the sixth-largest Texas-headquartered bank by deposit market share, operates 59 Texas branches and has approximately 1,040 employees providing highly personalized relationship banking through a single point of contact. Chambers will office out of Fort Worth.

In this new role, Steven Kelly will oversee key element Chili’s marketing strategy, including customer relationship management, loyalty, digital experience, third-party delivery, and paid media strategy and execution. Prior to joining Chili’s, Kelly worked first as senior director of marketing for Pizza Hut, where he rose through the company’s ranks over nearly 3 years. Prior to that, he held marketing leadership roles at KFC and Yum! Brands.

Vickie Adams has moved up to vice president at CAIL, making history as the youngest to hold this position at the organization. Adams joined CAIL as a staff assistant and worked her way to director of the Institute for Law and Technology and co-director of the Institute for Energy Law, where she contributed heavily to increasing membership growth, introducing publications, and creating diversity in the leadership. Prior to joining CAIL, Adams served as a legal counsel at Bank2.

In this new role, Glenn Moon will lead real estate acquisitions and franchise growth as Moxies prepares for expansion. Moon joins Moxies from Twin Peaks, where he served as vice president of development, adding 47 new opportunities in less than two years to the brand’s domestic pipeline. Before that, he held titles including senior vice president of business development at Virdee; managing director of North American urban development at Best Western Hotels & Resorts; and vice president for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.

Scott Wood, President

Scott Wood will serve a one-year term in his role as president. Wood has been a member of the Salesmanship Club for 14 years. The Salesmanship Club is the host of the AT&T Byron Nelson tournament and donates proceeds to the Momentous Institute. Prior to his promotion to president, Wood served as the chairman of the Momentous Institute board. Wood is the CEO and co-founder of True North Advisors. He founded the company in 2000.
