It has been a big year for Barak Epstein and his Aviation Cinemas, which took over operation of the Texas Theater and turned it into Dallas’ only independently-owned art house theater that shows both first run films and reparatory programming. While accomplishing that little goal, the guys behind the Texas Theater redo also produced a new film, Wuss, the follow up movie by director Clay Liford, who also worked with Epstein and partner Eric Steele on last year’s Earthling. Wuss debuts this Saturday at the Magnolia, and Chris Vognar talks to the producers about the movie and the theater.
