Where Have All the Houses Gone?

Senate Bill 541, as passed by the Texas Legislature, amends the Texas Tax Code to protect the confidentiality of photographs and floor plans of homes or property. Thus, for the safety of Texas families and their homes, the Dallas Central Appraisal District will no longer display photographs or building floor plans for all residential property.
Safety schmafety! What about fun? Those squares down in Austin have taken yet another thrill from our lives. Who doesn’t what to check out his snooty boss’s abode or his friend’s redneck rental? And what about your state representative’s house, the folks who passed the bill and deprived us of easy access to what is, after all, public information?
Not to worry. We had to work fast, but we got most of the state reps’ houses downloaded before they went away. Pictures for posterity after the jump:
