If we haven’t mentioned it yet, Dallas Video Festival 18 got underway on Tuesday.

Best bets: tonight at 8 in the DMA’s Horchow Auditorium, Luke Savisky (a featured artist at Sundance) is doing a live montage of 16mm and 35mm film projects created for the space. “Luke has unorthodox techniques of placing original and found moving images in sculptural, architectural and natural environments, distorting the viewers’ perception of time and space.”

A film getting lots of buzz is local guy Steve Mahone’s Radiant, showing Sunday at 1:45 in the Kalita Humphreys Theater. (Check out the reviews.)
