There’s some good stuff in the paper today. Smoky Joe Barton defends his recent bullying of scientists who think global warming exists. “Hey, I’m watching out for taxpayers,” Barton writes. “I’m just making sure we’re spending their tax money responsibly.” Ha! Stop it, Joe! You’re killing me! [slapping knee, cough, cough] But the joke would be funnier, Congressman, if you used Frank Luntz‘s phrase “climate change” in the punchline.
The Washington Post‘s David Ignatius offers the rebuttal. It’s not as funny.
