UPTOWN GOSSIP

|

An FoF tells us that yet another high rise is set to be built in Uptown:

Have you wondered (like the rest of us) why that restaurant in the block of McKinney and Fairmont in Uptown has been vacant for so long? Well, now that Uptown Bar & Grill and Urbano are moving across the street, the secret can finally (kinda) be revealed. That entire block, art gallery and all, has been sold for $36 million. The existing building will be torn down and a high rise (with parking, natch) will be put up in its place.

That does it. I’m tearing down my house this weekend and building a high rise. I refuse to let this trend pass me by.
