I have been told by more than one News staffer that the paper’s official policy is to pretend that FrontBurner does not exist (even as they mine us for story ideas). In the paper, we are referred to as “various blogs” or “area blogs” or “some blog that someone read.”
So I found the headline on one of the editorials this morning interesting: “To the Front Burner: Congress should press ahead on immigration.” See what’s happening? A frustrated, clever editorial writer is sending us messages in headlines!
We hear you loud and clear, buddy. And we’ll do what we can with Congress.
