North Texas health experts fear another COVID surge this fall. Dallas County adds 336 new cases.

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins reported 336 new COVID-19 cases on Monday with 4 deaths. Deaths included individuals in their 40s through 90s.


Tarrant County reported 318 cases on Monday with no new deaths, bringing the county’s total to nearly 55,700 cases since March, The Dallas Morning News reported.


Over 3,600 Texans are currently hospitalized, causing an increase in hospitalization rates compared to previous weeks, The Texas Tribune reported.


Health officials express concern over the risk of a fall COVID-19 resurgence as cases continue rising across Dallas County, The Dallas Morning News reported.
