Parkland Adds Testing Sites and M.D. Medical Group Adds Antigen Testing

Parkland Health & Hospital System is partnering with Dallas County Health and Human Services, the City of Dallas, and the federal government to establish two more walk-up testing sites.

“I’m pleased to announce that we’re opening two new sites in southern Dallas for COVID-19 testing. It’s important that we take the testing to where it’s needed most and that is in communities without health coverage due to our State’s decision not to expand Medicaid. These communities don’t have the medical resources of communities who have a pay source to pay for their healthcare.” Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins said via release.

The two new sites and hours are below, though locations may be changed based on need.

Red Bird Mall / Westmoreland Park
7222 S. Westmoreland Road, Dallas 75237 Monday, June 8 – Saturday, June 13
8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Inspired Vision Compassion Center 2019 N. Masters Drive, Dallas 75217 Monday, June 8 – Saturday, June 13 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

MD Medical Group will be offering the lates FDA approved diagnostic test that is designed for the rapid detection of COVID-19. The test will be available at 10 drive-thru locations with results in 15 minutes and will test hundreds of individuals a day. An appointment needs to be arranged prior to arrival at the locations below.
