People Magazine has released their 2019 Companies that Care list, and Texas Health Resources ranked 38 of the 50 finalists. Texas Health’s The Versant New Graduate RN Residency— a one-year career advancement program offered to new nursing grads— and their priority of hiring veterans as reasons for making it on the list.
People Magazine determines the Companies that Care list from feedback obtained through employee surveys that ask a variety of questions on several topics, including being treated with respect, opportunities for professional development, and team work.
“It’s truly an honor to be included on this list and recognized for the amazing programs that make a difference in the lives of our employees and the people in the communities we serve,” says executive vice president and chief people officer of Texas Health, Michelle Kirby via release.
Texas Health Resources is the only North Texas-based company to be ranked on this year’s list.
