Medical City Plano and Frisco Name Chief Medical Officer

Medical City Plano and Medical City Frisco have named Dr. Parikshet Babber to be the new chief medical officer. He arrives after serving as the executive vice president and chief medical officer of Harris Health System in Houston.

While in Houstin, Babber managed a $30 million budget and 268 employees, while overseeing quality, accreditation, utilization, patient safety, coding, health information management and medical staff services.  Previously, he was an emergency room physician in the VA Medical Center in Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
