The Real Housewives of Dallas Returns to Bravo in September

We’ve swapped Cary for Kary, apparently.

Get your not-knife-just hands ready and your Sparkle Dogs in formation—The Real Housewives of Dallas’ fourth season is almost upon us. Tim Rogers is thrilled!

Bravo dropped the trailer this morning, and while its filled with familiar #RHOD tropes (Kameron gets offended[!], LeeAnne’s talks herself out of murder[!], Mama Dee tells her daughter, “Don’t be stupid!”), there are a few things to note. LeeAnne—whose marriage to Rich was captured for the season—and D’Andra have fresh highlights. Someone says, “in today’s climate.” The whole thing opens with a funeral for a bunny. (It was purchased from a pet store and everyone feels bad about that.) The gang goes to Thailand!

Also, let’s go ahead and pour one out for our girl Cary Deuber, now demoted to “Friend” à la Luann de Lesseps and (most recently) Vicki Gunvalson. Though she may no longer have a tagline, she did open a business on camera (smart) and coolly referenced dating Lance Armstrong. Her work here will not be forgotten.

Opening credit symmetry is important though, so Cary has been replaced by Kary Brittingham, who hails from Guadalajara, is a “self-proclaimed feisty female who isn’t afraid to speak her truth,” and just made her Instagram public.

The fourth season returns on September 4.
