What I do…
“I help people figure out if they’re on track for financial independence.”

Who is your style icon?
“MMA fighter Conor McGregor. Who would have thought that one of the world’s most talented fighters would also have the best wardrobe? I’m not sure this guy has ever worn the same suit twice; his tailor has to be on retainer.”

How does your work influence what you wear?
“Blue and white—that’s what you’re taught when you enter into financial services. I had the perfect training for that dictate because I was raised in Big Blue Nation (University of Kentucky)! I like to keep my outfits traditional, but add a twist with color, texture,
or patterns.”

What inspires your style choices?
“I like sophisticated, interesting pieces that are elevated with exceptional details. You’ve heard the phrase, “God is in the details.” Style, in business and attire, is always enhanced by paying attention to often overlooked details.”

What do you never leave home without?
“Cuff links. Every dress shirt I own has a French cuff. I feel naked without them. If the Cowboys earn a win, I proudly wear my Cowboys cuff links. During Derby season, you can catch me in my jockey silks, or even wearing bourbon barrels to show off my Kentucky roots.”

Do you have a go-to look?
“You’ll find me in an elegant suit with a pocket square and polished dress shoes. I’ve recently dropped the tie—and haven’t looked back. I’ve had a lot of fun matching craft stitching and colored buttons on my dress shirts with the suit I’m wearing that day.”

Favorite Store?
“J. Hilburn. I’ve used many tailors but this is far and away my favorite for personalization, service, and quality of fabrics. My tailor, Marilee Gaughan, is always pushing me to step out of my comfort zone and try new ideas.”
