Jack Stone first made his television debut on Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette, and graced our screens yet again on this summer’s Bachelor in Paradise. Though he didn’t find love on either outing, the Dallas native won over fans with his sincere personality, remarkably symmetrical smile, and Hollywood-worthy full name.
His fashion choices weren’t too shabby either. Now that he’s back home, he’s getting a chance to flex his sartorial muscles by hosting Men’s Fashion Week in Dallas, running through Sunday, October 8. He also took some time to catch us up on everything from his favorite spots in Dallas and what it’s like to be recognized around town to the advice he’d give to any aspiring Bachelor contestants.
Where are your go-to places to shop for clothes, shoes, and accessories in Dallas?
DLM Supply in Bishop Arts is great. They have all the right brands and an amazing staff. For custom [clothes], Knot Standard will set you up and Lakan [Foster, the store manager] will have you looking your best.
Who do you trust with your hair?
Brittany at Salon Pompeo—she rocks.
How about favorite nightlife spots?
In Uptown, Bowen House is the only place to be for drinks (they also have great food). Pasha, the owner, is a good friend of mine. In Deep Ellum, I like the drinks at Black Swan. I also really like Lounge 31 in Highland Park Village—always great people watching there. Uchi, an Austin staple, is my favorite place for dinner.
One of my friends recently met you at Katy Trail Ice House. Do you get noticed often? How do people tend to react to meeting you?
I’ve had a good time with it. People are usually pretty excited. It makes no sense to me – no one on the show saved a life or did anything truly meaningful. But I still appreciate it when people come up and say hi. Even though I was born and raised in Dallas (I went to Dallas public schools), a lot of people ask what I’m doing here. I live here!
What advice would you give them about the audition process or about being on the show?
For starters, I would make sure they are going on the show for the “right reasons”: the free food. But seriously, they should be going on the show for the experience and at least be open to finding a meaningful connection as well. The audition process is pretty straightforward, so just be yourself. Finally, know what you’re signing up for; how you’re portrayed is never entirely under your control.

What’s next for you? Any plans to stay involved with the franchise?
They say “never say never,” but no plans to go back for the time being. For now, I’m focused on my real life, my friends, and my family.
