The weekend is upon us…Herewith a few fun happenings for you and the littles (or just you).

Dior Couture Patrick Demarchelier
Grab a coffee and some organic dark chocolate at Number One then head over to the new Christian Dior boutique in Highland Park Village for a free pop-up exhibit showcasing (gorgeous) fashion images by beloved French photographer Patrick Demarchelier. Hurry, the exhibit is only up through this Sunday, March 31. (Ed. Correction, I just found out that the exhibit actually runs through April 19, so there’s even more time to take in the Demarchelier goodness.)

The Many Hands
On Saturday take in some live music (you’ll be happy you did, trust us) at the Deep Ellum Big Folkin’ Festival. Afrocentric future-pop band The Many Hands is playing at The Prophet Bar at, wait for it…5:30 p.m., making it a perfect show for the kiddos (and for me too, sadly, given my “in bed at nine” tendencies).

Yoga & Beer Happy Hour
Ok, technically this one happens on Monday, but it was so good we had to include it. We Yogis is holding a special “Yogis & Beer Happy Hour Class” on April Fools’ Day, Monday, April 1. No joke! (Sorry.) Instructor Gina Dunn will power students through a rockin’ all-levels yoga class followed by a beer tasting including gluten-free brews Widmer Omissions Lager and Widmer Omissions Pale Ale. The class goes from 5:45-6:55 p.m. and costs $18. The beer is free. Reserve your spot on the We Yogis website or by calling 214-351-1229.
