This party shatters any preconceived notions I might have had about superhero birthday parties. Every detail – from the color palette to the cake (!) to snack cones made of comics – is wholly original and far from cliche. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the party is set against the Spanish countryside, donkeys and all, which ups the cool quotient instantaneously. But, still…it shows that the same ole tired thing can be reinvented to look fresh and whimsical. So maybe there’s hope for the Disney princess party at Pump It Up that my little requested…maybe.
