I finally got my hands on a copy of Take Ivy!! ($2,000 on eBay!, but that’s not what I paid!) But what does it all mean?? Why is traditional so passionately pursued?? Traditional is said to be the epitome of style. To transcend the whims of fashion. Loafers. Bow ties. Madras prints. Embroidered blue whales. Southern Methodist University on any given tailgate. The fashion savvy of America’s elite. A safe haven for the sartorially selective among the ever-growing chaos of department stores and runways. (OK, I copied that one:) It’s just all so totally trad! And, of course, that’s what we love on the Hilltop!!
