There’s so much going on today design wise, I don’t know where to shop, start. Just checked out the IO Metro store on Alpha. In a word – fresh. Great finds at astonishing prices, the store has merchandising chops that make you want everything in it. George Cameron Nash hosted a luncheon (specially catered by GCN Catering) and introduced Dallas to exquisite embroidered linens by Sharyn Blond. Then I checked out the new Paris shipment at Jan Showers. Or I should say Paris and Palm Beach – because some of the best pieces she found there. Look for more 1970s influence with lucite paired with mirror, architectural bronze and stainless steel. In Paris, it is tre chic. On to the Bath and Body Show at Sherle Wagner with Joe Pacetti Precious Jewels – Jewelry fo the bath – jewelry for the body. Appropriate, huh? Then, of course, galleries on Dragon St are open late for First Thursdays. And please don’t forget little Andelon Gallery where one of my best friends, George Sheban is featuring his photography (shown above) in his first show. Whew, I’m already exhausted.
