I have been using Estee Lauder’s TurboLash Mascara for the last week. They debuted the battery-operated, vibrating, mascara on July 17 at Saks Fifth Avenue. WWD reports on the various “buzzing” mascaras to hit the market, including those by Lancome, Akasha, and Procter & Gamble. The idea behind it is that the gently vibrating wand grasps the lashes, therefore resulting in more coverage per lash. After getting over the initial fear of putting the moving wand close to my eye, it seems to do what it touts and I’m liking it. I do, however, think it will be interesting going through airport security with this in my makeup bag.
