There’s not always enough time in the day to skim a lengthy, re-worded press release that’s been stamped with “breaking” or “exclusive.” And some stories don’t warrant an entire page of prose. Each week we’ll gather the most important tidbits of Dallas food news and post them here, on SideDish. Because sometimes all you need is the scoop.

Klink alcohol delivery company comes to Dallas: Another app-based alcohol delivery company is coming to town. In honor of Klink’s Dallas launch, the business will offer 6-cent sic-packs of Revolver Blood & Honey this Saturday, October 3. According to the release: “Here’s how to get a six-pack of Revolver Blood & Honey for six cents: Be 21 or older with a valid ID. Then go to klinkdelivery.com or download the Klink Delivery app for iOS or Android. Find the $0.06 pack of beer and add to the cart along with any other products from Klink’s inventory. There is a limit of one discounted six-pack per customer. Klink has a $15 order minimum and no delivery fee.”

Tacos Mariachi to open in October: Tacos Mariachi is slated to open this month near Trinity Groves at 602 Singleton Blvd. According to the release: “After 30 years in the Dallas food scene, restauranteur Jesus Carmona breaks away from the typical taco fare to serve patrons a real taste of the Baja California region…Mr. Carmona and Chef Moises Rico are crafting fresh and savory flavors that are unique in Dallas…The food here is bright, colorful, and filled with variety, just like the bustling streets of Tijuana, Mexico. Sticking strongly to its Mexican roots, Tacos Mariachi also serves all the traditional tacos that Dallas loves; Pollo al pastor, Barbacoa, and Carne asada, among others. Also, all day breakfast tacos and breakfast burritos make this a daily visit. Aguas frescas like Jamaica and Cucumber Limonada will keep guests cooled down, and the beer and wine menu is sure to make this a perfect happy hour spot.”

Le Taco Cantina launches new happy hour: The Oak Lawn restaurant is offering $3 margaritas, sangria, canned beers, Exotico tequila shots and wells, half-priced pitchers of beer, and $1 off all tacos every day from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. In addition they’ll be offering “Sunday Funday” which features half-priced bottles of champagne, live music, and their regular happy hour menu; “Taco Tuesday” which features $2 margaritas all day; and “Wine Wednesday” with half-priced bottles of wine and pitchers of sangria all day.

Fuzzy’s offers $1 Tacos: Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is offering dollar tacos this Monday, October 5. According to the release: “All of its Baja Tacos, including breakfast tacos, will be $1 all day long (except for the fajita, shrimp and “California Heat” tacos. Dine-in only). All Fuzzy’s Taco Shops nationwide, including the 40+ Fuzzy’s Taco Shops in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, will be serving up $1 Baja tacos (soft or crispy) all day long.” Well there you have it.
