There are several food truck events to choose from this week. There’s the weekly Wednesday night Sigel’s/Greenville “Food Truck Experience”, as well as Thursday night at the Dallas Arboretum with The Guava Tree, Jack’sChowhound, and The Butcher’s Son. On Saturday night, the City of Farmer’s Branch will host Date Night in the Park with Guava Tree, Ruthies, Easy Slider, SoCal Tacos, Rockn’Ricks, and Gypsy Scoops.

Two new food trucks have recently hit the streets — in addition to Cousins Maine Lobster that we mentioned a couple of weeks agoNates 125th Cafe is now serving “Soul Fusion” dishes. Owner/operator/chef Nate McMurray is from New York, and after working in finance for a few years decided to head to Texas and open a food truck. The man has to have big wheels for this effort.

Dallas D-Lish started rolling in March and has since been making an appearance at Truck Yard, Mother Truckers, and other events. Dallas D-Lish claims to use only organic ingredients sourced from local farmer’s markets. According to the D-Lish web site, their menu is a bit smaller than most food trucks, but has promise to be a bit more elevated.

Here is your schedule for the week. Be sure to check social media as rain tends to fall in April.
