Well, three cheers to juice. It looks like this juicing trend is strongly plodding along, now that the owner of Roots Juices is permanently settling his… um… roots in Dallas. A storefront for the Dallas-based company is opening this Friday, the day after we stuff our faces with turkey, at 3527 Oak Lawn Avenue. I think they did that on purpose, don’t you?
Roots Juices will have 17 flavors of cold-pressed juices, three kinds of smoothies, raw food bites, and specialty waters. And they’re giving away free 8-oz. complimentary juices to in-store patrons. Fun times.
