Jeff Harris Leaves Bolsa for Consilient Restaurants

|

Consilient Restaurants is on a roll.

First, Tristan Simon’s hospitality group nabbed Graham Dodds and stole him away from Central 214. (I’m pretty sure Hotel Palomar is still mourning his loss.)

Today comes word that Bolsa’s Jeff Harris has been drawn to the Consilient side, too. (I wonder what restaurant they’re cooking up for him. Hm.)

This leaves the Bishop Arts District restaurant with Andrew Bell as the executive chef. Bell’s worked at Wink and Uchi in Austin, Parigi, and Nosh Euro Bistro. Sounds like the perfect guy. Dinner and brunch menus will be changing up soon, so go eat what you love at Bolsa before it disappears.

UPDATE 1:22 p.m.: This press release just came in.

Consilient Hospitality is proud to name Jeff Harris as the Executive Chef of AF+B in Fort Worth.  Most recently, Harris served as Executive Chef of Bolsa in Dallas and prior to that, as Executive Chef of Craft Dallas.  “We’re simply elated about Jeff joining Consilient and taking the helm of AF+B’s kitchen,” said Consilient Hospitality co-owner Tristan Simon. “Jeff’s Texas roots, precise cooking and commitment to local sourcing embody the culinary vision for AF+B.”

Consilient had previously announced its intention to name Jeffery Hobbs the Executive Chef of AF+B but changed course after Hobbs left the company in August.  “Jeffery Hobbs is a terrific chef and a great guy and will always be a friend of Consilient; but we determined together that AF+B wasn’t the right fit for him,” said Simon.
