The other day, my deskmate Raya Ramsey brought this dill-flavored popcorn to the office, and I went pretty crockadoodle crazy over it. There’s something so addicting about this dill, pickle-y flavor, I can’t quite put my finger on it. Once you start, you can’t stop.
Maybe it’s just the kind of thing you like as an adult, if you were the kind of kid who drank pickle juice straight from the jar.
Raise your hand if you’re guilty of this, too.

Anyway, Raya’s roommate procured another bag of dill-flavored popcorn by Sassy Popcorn for me, and I found myself STILL EATING this salty snack even after all the kernels went completely stale. This happened twice, which is surprising, because I haaaate stale popcorn.
Sassy Popcorn, owned by two ladies named Keri Jordan and Kaci Nhem, run a gourmet popcorn shop in Allen (2035 W. McDermott Drive #410), where they sell intriguing flavors like pizza, ranch, salty vinegar, loaded potato, and wild buffalo. The store opened earlier this year in March, and from the look of its Facebook page, it’s now in trick-or-treat mood and selling Halloween candy and treats. Your kiddos will probably love this place. And so will you. As long as you go for dill.
