Continuing in the weekly “Get Your Wine On”  tasting series, The Grape Sommelier and General Manager, Courtney Luscher, teams with Loni Heyn, Republic Beverage Champagne Specialist, for a tasting of 5 different sparklers paired with light appetizers in the space next door to The Grape (the old Stoney’s location.)  Cost is $25, and if you stick around for dinner at The Grape you’ll get 15% off your total bill.   If you need to stock up on your holiday bubbly this is a great opportunity to try a few and find a new favorite.  Tasting starts at 6, for reservations call 214-828-1981.

Tomorrow night Veritas Wine Roomwill be pouring one of my favorite Napa Valley reds, for free!  Krupp Brothers, producers of Black Bart Syrah, Krupp Brothers Symphony and the incredible Advocate from Stagecoach Vineyard, will be featured for a free tasting from 5:30pm-8pm.  The tasting will include 4 different Krupp Brothers wines with special pricing on bottle sales, as well as discounts on 6 bottle and case sales. Get there early, these tastings have become quite a hit with Veritas regulars.
