La Calle Doce Reopening Lakewood Location

|

Laura Sanchez announced she will be reopening their La Calle Doce Lakewood location on Skillman later this month. The Lakewood location closed last August due to an electrical fire. Jump for details.

“We are so excited to be reopening the Lakewood location of Dallas’ original Mexican Seafood Restaurant,” says owner Laura Sanchez. “We were able to turn the fire into an opportunity to serve this great community better by updating our interior and adding new features.  I have had multiple calls from our guests every single day since the fire wondering when we were going to re open.  It will be good to welcome them back”

Laura’s inspiration for the new interior was to create an atmosphere of being by the sea. Guests will dine in navy blue booths surrounded by a refreshing royal blue color scheme and authentic family photos that decorate the walls. In addition to new décor the remodel included adding a new and larger bar area, a private dining space for larger groups and functions, and the “Tequila Room” that can accommodate up to ten.

The Lakewood location will continue to serve the fresh and flavorful Costal Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine La Calle Doce has offered Dallas patrons for over 20 years.  Their extensive menu features authentic Mexican fish dishes, such as  award winning ceviche (fish and shrimp marinated with lime), Mexican seafood cocktails, mahi mahi tacos, and other main courses such as chile relleno de mariscos (poblano pepper stuffed with shrimp, scallops, octopus, and fish). For Tex-Mex lovers the menu offers plenty of favorites to choose from including, Fajitas Asadas (choice of chicken or beef), flautas, and enchiladas. Enjoy the sopa de pescado (fish soup) and caldo Xochitl (Oaxacan-style chicken soup) which make wonderful appetizers and don’t forget about their award winning margaritas.

La Calle Doce in Lakewood will be offering happy hour from 3 – 6 p.m. and will include $3 margaritas, $3.50 flavored margaritas and draft beer for $2-$3. The Lakewood location will also offer live entertainment on the weekends.
