Get excited SD nation: The reader that made Nove famous (infamous) last week is back with his Trece review. And it’s not just a review. It’s a sonnet, limerick, and haiku. Jump now.

“A Restaurant Week Review of Trece: Limerick, Sonnet, and Haiku.”

There once was a hostess from Trece,
Far fuller of blouse than cabezey,
“Restaurant Week?
“Here, dear, take a seat,
“And if you think we won’t upsell, you’re crazy.”

‘Tis all about a sultry summer’s night
In which this bard did venture forth to eat;
Hear of his fearful gustatory plight,
Of dishes he doth never care repeat.
A sip of sopa de tortilla hot,
A cow-cake of budin Azteca mush,
The first, like oral on the wife of Lot,
The latter worthy of a double flush.
Wet crepes, beside an ice cream of Champagne,
Enwrapped a wan and weakly flavored peach.
The bard did marvel how, with food so plain,
The striving kitchen’s grasp still missed its reach.
The bard scorns superstition ’round the globe,
Yet finds himself a triskaidekaphobe.

How best to describe
Trece in Restaurant Week?
Pancho’s with lobster.
