Enjoy Luxury Waterfront Ranching at 505 Ranch Club

Home, home on the exclusive, waterfront ranch.

I’ve visited a lake house once or twice in my day and I’ve experienced the ranch life, but I can honestly say that I’ve never witnessed anything quite like 505 Ranch Club.

Truth be told, the D Home editors took a trip out to this luxurious oasis just a couple of years ago, when they visited this gorgeous, sleek modern home for the May/June 2013 issue (enjoy the architectural eye candy here), but seeing as that was before my D Home time, I decided to take a (virtual) visit to 505 Ranch myself.

The private community along Cedar Creek Lake in Mabank offers owners a ranch and a lake house and some pretty luxurious amenities. Think sailing, jet skiing, paddle boarding, fishing, a 24-hour ranch staff, and camping in some picturesque, glamping-approved tents. Just to amplify the allure, there are only 56 waterfront lots on the property, all with access to an Adirondack-styled clubhouse with a full-service kitchen, private beach, and infinity-edge pool.

While 505 Ranch is entirely new to me, there are a few things that are new to everyone this year. Namely, a state-of-the-art polo and equestrian center complete with riding arena and stables available for private lease.

So if you too fancy the idea of some luxurious waterfront ranching, check it out here, then feel free to join me in my mission to find one of the few, lucky property owners, form an instantaneous bond, and celebrate our newfound friendship glamping under the stars.
