Six Things Rocking Designer Abbe Fenimore’s World

Abbe Fenimore is cool, smart, and wickedly funny. She’s also a bit of a pattern whisperer, mixing them up (not to mention what she can do with divergent colors) with enviable ease.

As the founder of design firm Studio Ten 25, she crafts interesting, livable, “classic with a twist” atmospheres that have garnered loads of attention and accolades, including a coveted spot on D Home’s list of 101 Best Designers for 2012.

Abbe also runs Shop Ten 25, an online marketplace filled with an array of drool-worthy home goods, and authors an inspiration-filled blog. (Let’s just say she’s an overachiever, that one.)

So, of course, we had to check in to see what she’s loving of late. Here goes.

1. The Rug Company’s new Dhurries and Studio collection — So well designed, with striking color and patterns and great price points!
2. John Robshaw’s new fabric line for Duralee — I was lucky enough to snag samples, and I’m smitten.
3. Mongolian fur pillows and throws — I love the softness and the texture they bring to a space. I’m having a custom slipcover made for a bench in my office in teal. It’s going to be stunning.
4. Dedar’s Qui Brille Silk large-scale graphic — I’m dying to use this bold print in a dining room.
5. The Neon Piper Pillows from Christian MaxwellI love everything by this NYC-based designer. Plus, she makes all of her pieces here in the USA.
6. Works by Mary Lee — I am OBSESSED with this young Austin artist! I met her last summer and had to carry her pieces in my shop, as her use of color and texture is amazing. I commissioned one of her pieces for a project I did at The Ritz-Carlton.
