It’s dark outside. I’ve eaten too much. I need to lie down. All of this brought to mind a recent trek I made to 7-Eleven, during which I told my mother about someone who had mildly annoyed me. (To my mother’s credit, she said I should be more than “mildly” annoyed.) Anyway, during the rant, I walked by Quatrine, and I looked in the window, and I was happy for a moment. Then I returned to my rage. I’m better now—totally at peace, I promise. But I do wish I had Quatrine’s Modern George sofa in my office—okay, cube—right this very minute.
