I’ll admit I’m no big fan of Islam, and if someone’s really planning something evil I’m all for going Jack Bauer on them, so that’s my mindset going into this. And yet I find this story today about a UT Dallas student troubling. The government trumpets that this Pakinstani student is some kind of big-time potential terrorist, but all they convict him of is a few specious and, really now, minor league weapons charges, which ultimately the government set up.
