A FBvian who was there tells us how the gig accommodated those who were interested in the Mavs game:
Mavs (and Dirk specifically) suck, and yes, dinner and live auction ran past tip-off time. Two monitors for the Mavs — both in the entry hallway. Many, like me, did not see a single punch thrown in the ring, preferring to drown our sorrows as we witnessed the Baron Davis-induced horror. I now feel like I’ve been kicked in the crotch by the Mavs two years in a row.
Did I mention Dirk sucks?
