FAIRMOUNT GETS REALLY CHEESY

|

Dallas-based Fairmount Food Group is a huge cheese distributor that is about to get huger now that it’s buying ConAgra’s cheese business, Swissrose International. According to the news item, which I don’t think has been posted on FB until now,

Swissrose posted sales of $250 million in 2005, ConAgra said in a statement Wednesday, and is expected to double Fairmount’s cheese portfolio to $500 million in annual sales, making it the largest U.S. importer and marketer of specialty and deli-style cheeses, the company says.
