Getting to parts of the paper a little late today. What’s up with this story about Irvin’s 1996 drug trial? The DA investigated. It didn’t find enough to bring charges of tampering. And, anyway, even if the DMN dug up something new (which it didn’t), there’s nothing that could be done about it at this point. Too late to bring charges. Thing is, just because you file an open records request, that doesn’t mean you have to write a story about all the records you receive.
