Because nothing holds you accountable like a recurring monthly payment.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Facials should be covered by insurance. But since that’s not likely to become a reality any time soon (or ever), I’m thankful for Dallas skincare institutions that make it simple to stay on the once-a-month schedule recommended by most derms and aestheticians.

Here are a few spots to consider incorporating into your monthly budget. Because nothing holds you accountable better than a recurring automated payment.

  1. Face Haus’ Mint Monthly

Face Haus has had plenty of news to share recently. The California-based beauty bar is opening their second Dallas location soon (this one will be in West Village). They also just rolled out an electrolyte-infused, hydro-jelly mask bar (they’re gooey and glorious) and three wedding-themed packages (one is called “Aisle Be Ready” and I’ll never get over it).

But their most exciting announcement may be the launch of their monthly membership packages. Priced at $59, The Mint Monthly includes one free facial each month, 10 percent off front-of-house retail, a birthday gift, two gift cards for friends, and a $25 retail gift card for yourself.

2. House of Preservation: Monthly Facial Club

A membership at the calm, clean-lined retreat next door to Beverley’s, located on the edge of Highland Park and Knox District, includes one of the med spa’s completely customized facials each month (skin concerns are determined during a preliminary consultation). The med spa’s facials are typically $250, but club members pay just $150 a month.

3. OVME’s Elite Membership

The Atlanta import’s Elite Membership ($99 a month) comes with a hefty list of perks, including same-day Botox for $9 a unit, $100 off dermal filler treatments, and a free weekly B12 shot. You’ll also receive a free signature facial or an illuminize peel each month at the newly opened med spa.

4. Riviera Spa Dallas

A month-to-month membership at the Travis Street spa includes your choice of 50-minute massage (signature or pre-natal) or a 50-minute organic, customized facial. You’ll also score 10 percent off all spa products, birthday specials, and discounts on additional services.

5. Hiatus Spa + Retreat’s H-Circle

With the opening of their brand new Fort Worth location at Crocket Row, Hiatus (which has locations in Dallas, Plano, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio), continues to solidify itself as a Texas spa institution. An H-Circle membership, which starts at $69, earns you one core spa therapy a month, including a mani-pedi equipped with an anti-gravity chair (the best) and a signature “Tailor-Made” facial customized to your skincare needs.
