There must be some sort of unspoken rule that May is the month of the fitness challenge, because a lot of local studios are getting in on the game. It makes sense. Summer is near and it’s already too hot in Dallas for sleeves. Plus, all these local challenges have incentives, including discounted classes and a staycation at The Joule. So why not, right? The 15/30 Challenge at Vital Fitness Studio
The Studio: Vital Fitness Studio underneath The Joule Hotel.
The Challenge: Attend at least 15 Vital Fitness Studio classes (which include yoga, spinning, boxing, and more) during the month of May. After 15 classes, you get even more chances to win. (It gets a little complicated though, so just click here for those details.)
The Incentive(s): One lucky challenge completer will score a one-night staycation at The Joule, one month of unlimited classes at Vital (for them and a friend), brunch for four at Sassetta in the Design District, a Tata Harper gift set, a 50-minute service at The Joule Spa, and “much more.” Everyone else who completes the challenge is invited to pool party on Sunday, June 3 on The Joule’s downtown rooftop.

Power Week at Class Studios
The Studio: Class Studios in West Village.
The Challenge: Beginning Monday, May 14, until Sunday, May 20, the studio’s spin and circuit training classes are only $15. Attend 10 classes in one week
The Incentive(s): “A muscle tank, a Sunday celebration, and bragging rights.”

City Surf x City Crew Staycation Challenge
The Studio(s): Maritime-inspired sister studios City Surf and City Crew.
The Challenge: Take four classes at each studio to qualify for the prize. For bonus points, attend more classes at City Crew or any City Surf location, post proof of your workout on social media, and refer a friend to class.
The Incentive: A “sweet Dallas staycation package.” We’ve reached out to get some details on what that package might entail.
