Kelly Christine Sutton Portrait Pop-Up at FTK
Just hearing the word “headshot” is enough to make anyone nervous, but Kelly Christine Sutton’s photos are a far cry from the yearbook picture days of yore. Stop by Favor the Kind this Saturday for a more natural-looking portrait (for your kids or yourself), and feel good knowing that 10 percent of your booking ($150) will be donated to Dallas CASA.
Through Saturday, Sept. 22
Mignonne Gavigan Trunk Show at Miron Crosby
We’ll happily take any excuse to visit Miron Crosby’s chic Highland Park Village studio, but a trunk show by Mignonne Gavigan is a particularly good one. Founded by New York-based southerner Mignonne Smith, the brand’s unmistakable jewelry and neckties are all handmade in India.

Women’s Maker Market at Beatnik
Lindsey Munchrath’s Oak Cliff shop is turning one this weekend. To celebrate, the Morocco-inspired boutique is hosting a women’s maker market this Sunday, and showcasing more than 16 local female artisans offering everything from vintage and handmade goods to florals.
