THUMBS DOWN to Tim Lott, vice president of development and planning for the Dallas Housing Authority, for his apparent lies to citizens concerned about the proposed DHA housing units at Frankford and Marsh in far North Dallas. The nearest DART bus stop is a mile from the site. Asked bow residents without cars would get to stores, hospitals, etc., Lott said, “DART has told us they will move where we move.” As it transpired, no DART official had made such a promise to the DHA; in fact, Lott later admitted he hadn’t even asked for such a commitment. The DHA continues to squander its vanishing credibility.
