The billionaire Dallas oilman donated $6 million towards the revitalization of Jubilee Park, a rundown, crime-ridden neighborhood near Fair Park in South Dallas. The money will go to building a new community center for police and government services— scheduled to open in 2009— and help purchase and bulldoze properties in disrepair.
