When the tree huggers down in Austin first opened Whole Foods in 1980, we in Dallas weren’t thinking about organic avocados. But clearly things have changed. Whole Foods just opened a flagship store at Preston Road and Forest Lane, across the street from the old location. Our favorite part? ReFresh spa. Dallas is the first in the world to have the spa (go figure), which has treatments ranging from massages and facials to body glows and reflexology—using only all-natural ingredients, of course. You’re even wrapped in an organic cotton robe. The body shop upstairs also carries upscale, eco-friendly products such as mineral makeup and organic clothes and body care items.
