All kinds of cool.

With no Flea Style show on a weekend planner until this fall, fans of Brittany Cobb’s carefully curated artisan and vintage marketplace may be craving similar creative surroundings. Fear not, Flea fans. Come July 30,  Cobb will be hosting the very first Flea Style Summit, and you’re going to want to be there.

Mission StatementFeaturing several of Dallas’ popular and up-and-coming creatives, the event aims to keep local  communities connected during the hiatus between Flea Style’s biannual pop-up shows with an all-day conference at Gilley’s that should tide Dallas fans over until November.“As a small business owner myself,” says Cobb, “I’m really pumped to learn from likeminded entrepreneurs whom I respect. They will offer a bevy of advice, inspiration and encouragement.” Here’s what to expect.

The Theme

“Summit Camp.” Attendees will be treated to s’mores during panels, and decor will include a play on tie-dye, such as indigo dyed tea towels from Lauren Williams of Boho by Lauren.

The Highlights

According to Cobb, guests should look forward to “meals, art workshops led by longtime Flea Style vendors, and panels featuring national tastemakers and celebrities who will dish real-world advice, spanning from startup tips and social media tricks to styling advice and ‘Instagram Photography 101.’”

The Panelists

Guest speakers include Jennifer Harrison of Flea Market Fab, Ashley Rose of Sugar and Cloth, interior designer Paige Morse, Storage Wars‘ Jenny Grumbles, and Melinda Jones of Read Between the Lines.

But Wait, There’s More

The event will also feature a happy hour, workshops, a braid bar, an aura portrait studio and reader, and a retail section featuring panelists’ exclusive items such as art prints and home decor.
