Methodist Medical Group, the physician group of Methodist Health System that encompasses 120 providers across 35 facilities, has named a senior vice president and chief operating officer. Michael Bukosky will take on the role.
It’s the first COO for the group, a need created by growth from MMG and Methodist Health System overall, a spokesperson for the Dallas-based system said.
Bukosky comes to Methodist after serving as chief administrative officer at the primary care and specialty care network USMD Holdings Inc. Bukosky was also president of USMD Physician Practice Management, the company’s clinic services side encompassing 250 physicians and associate practitioners across Dallas-Fort Worth.
Methodist Medical Group is made up of primary care locations as well as specialty practices. It rebranded last year from its original name, MedHealth.
