Brad has returned to the D Empire, where he’ll now be editing D Healthcare Daily.

“D is doubling down on the resources it is devoting to healthcare coverage in Dallas-Fort Worth, and that’s an important development for the local medical community,” the site’s founding editor, Steve Jacob. “D Healthcare Daily has become extremely popular in one short year; Brad will help us take it to the next level.”

Pearson, who hails from New York, previously covered Medicare and Medicaid reform in Washington, D.C. He moved to Texas in 2010, joining People Newspapers, D’s community newspapers group. His medical reporting has been recognized with first-place awards from both the Texas Medical Association and American Cancer Society. He has been a frequent contributor to D CEO and has also written for Esquire and Time magazines.

“Brad is smart and assertive, an excellent writer and editor with a real nose for news” said Glenn Hunter, executive editor of D CEO. “Given his solid background covering healthcare, we think he’s the ideal person to help take D Healthcare Daily to even greater heights.”
