Last night your Texas Rangers scored another dramatic come-from-behind win. Down to their final out in the ninth inning, Ian Kinsler scored the tying run on an Adrian Beltre single. Then, in the 10th, Leonys Martin hit a three-run homer just over the left-field fence to beat the Angels, 14-11.
We noted yesterday how badly the Rangers have been slumping. Logically, it’s silly to think that one hard-fought win can jumpstart a team’s season, getting them back on track for a playoff spot. But two such wins in a row? At least for one night, it’s hard to fight the sensation that they’re already champions.
